Gloria Ann™ ™ America's Children In 1936, an artist named Dewees Cochran began sculpting very special dolls for Effanbee. They were based on her theory that there are six basic facial structures, which she individually modeled to look like real little girls, with human hair wigs and contemporary dresses. Effanbee selected four of these portraits of America's children for mass production. Today we introduce Gloria Ann™, the first in our series recreating these exceptional artist dolls. Gloria has been dressed by Robert Tonner, recreating the classic wardrobe of a young lady in 1940. Gloria Ann™ is an 18" vinyl doll, fully strung, with blink eyes and rooted hair. Each design is presented in limited editions of 1,000 pieces each.
